The 60th World Championships took place in Poland on the 14th and 15th of September.  The event was dominated by a mighty Team England who scored an incredible 7 points on the first leg and 15 on the second to secure team gold with an amazing total of 22 penalty points over the two days!  The squad was made up of Alan Scotthorne, Steve Hemingray, Will Raison, Des Shipp, 2012 individual world champion Sean Ashby and Steve Gardener.

Team France secured second spot with a masterful second day total of only 10 points for a total of 33 penalty points with host nation Poland taking third.

We would like to congratulate all the anglers in team England and France.

Bravo also to French superstar Didier Delannoy who lifted the individual crown and Steve Hemingray and Alan Scotthorne who were respectively silver and Bronze individual medal winners.
