Sensas UK Final by Joff Woodgett

Never have we seen so many teams practicing for the SensasUK challenge final on the Gloucester canal. Conditions for fishing became difficult when flood water entered the canal from the local river after torrential rain a few days before the competition. The canal became heavily colored this meant Bream would possible feed and did . Most sections had a bream weight or two where others struggled for small fish Barnsley and Sensas 28 mixed it up sorting out the the areas for bream and then concentrating on catching small silverfish like roach and bleak. Sensas 28 really had this method sorted and left top teams struggling to catch up Dorking and starlets A both struggled on the first day. Barnsley took took the honors on the first day with 13 points followed by Starlets C on 18 points . This could all change going into the last day Barnsley A only had to hold on making sure everyone caught fish whether it was the bream or roach . Sensas 28 again showed why they are so good on small fish catching them in every section something here in the UK have to adapt too . By the end of the competition Barnsley had just kept there lead overall taking first place closely followed by Sensas 28 with Sensas Ireland in third place .

This is one of the biggest competition on the UK's Match calendar and grows year on year the venue is ideal with depths of up to 5 meters and 40 meters wide with a large number bream skimmers roach and bleak being the main target. Teams taking part this year found the going hard yet fair there is always a method to catch a fish it's just sorting it out the quickest .

Sensas UK would like to thank everyone for attending the event this year and look forward to seeing everyone again next year
